AT&T
Summary
AT&T is an American telecommunications company based out of Dallas, Texas.
On one occasion AT&T blocked 4chan, leading to lots of drama.
Origins
This AT&T was originally Southwestern Bell, one of the "baby bell" companies split from the old AT&T after an antitrust lawsuit. Southwestern Bell later became SBC Communications, and it eventually acquired the old AT&T and changed its name.
Rise to fame
AT&T acquired Cingular. It is one of the companies authorized to distrbute the iPhone.
