A catchphrase meaning "really good" or "top-notch."
Common usage
Originated in the eBay feedback system which is limited to 80 characters generally found in the form of "A+++ EBAYER!!!1! WILL BUY AGAIN!!!!!!". Appropriately, the term is based on the primary and secondary school letter grade system (A, B, C, D, F), wherein a grade of "A" is considered "excellent", and "A+" denotes a grade marginally better than an "A". Teachers often give their students an A+ in an attempt to get them to become overachievers and to fulfil the dreams they never could themselves. In many European countries grades are given on a scale from 4 to 10, so Europeans are more likely to say "10+" rather than "A+."
In Netspeak, the more plus signs added to the term, the better the content referred to.
