Summary

A handbag?! is an extremely short video of a prim-looking woman spitting, "a handbag?!" in shock and disgust.

Origins

The clip comes from a play entitled The Importance of Being Earnest. Written by Oscar Wilde and first performed in 1895, the play itself has only been seen by Uncyclopedia editors, theater snobs, and old people. The character in the clip, Lady Bracknell, was played by Edith Evans in the 1952 film adaptation.
