Summary
Al Neda was a propaganda site from Al Qaeda. It was hosted in Malaysia and opened a little while after September 11 occurred.
Several people attempted to hack away the site and DDOS it. Jon Messner, a porn site operator, successfully took over Al Neda. For five days terrorists continued to post messages, not knowing that a porn king was holding the site. Once the terrorists realized that an infidel was holding it, they cried foul and stopped posting. Messner proceeded to post an image of the USA seal on the site with the message "Hacked, Tracked, and Now Owned by the USA"
Origins
Al Qaeda was founded by Osama bin Laden, a Saudi Arabian man who first got a grudge against the United States after American soldiers were stationed in Saudi during the first Gulf War. Al Qaeda perpetrated the 1998 U.S. Embassy bombings and the September 11 attacks.
Current status
