Bob Parsons is the founder and CEO of The Go Daddy Group, Inc., a family of companies comprising three domain name registrars, including flagship/Death Star registrar GoDaddy.com, reseller registrar Wild West Domains and Blue Razor Domains. Other affiliated companies include Domains by Proxy Inc., a domain privacy company, and Starfield Technologies, the group's technology development arm.
He is also considered by many to be a total and complete jerk. Bob Parsons was recently denounced by several animal rights groups for tweeting a video of him shooting an elephant. In a thinly veiled attempt of an apology, Parsons explained, "The tribal authorities requested that I and others like me patrol the fields before and during the harvest." Tweeting the video was merely a chance for Mr. Parsons to flaunt his incredible machismo.
Parsons was born in Baltimore, Maryland. Please do not let this reflect poorly on the citizens of the great city of Baltimore.

- Bob Parsons was a United States Marine and served a tour in Vietnam.
- As a result of his service and injury he earned the Combat Action Ribbon, the Vietnam Gallantry Cross and the Purple Heart - but none of that matters since he murdered a poor elephant in cold blood.
