Summary
Canada's a very cold country north of the United States. Canada is known for its multiculturalism (In addition to the Anglophone and Francophone groups, you have the east and south Asian populations in Vancouver and Toronto and the Arabic speaking people in Montreal), its chilly weather, and the expression "Eh?".
The Star Wars Kid originated from Canada. It became wildly popular on the internet, much to the chagrin of the boy himself, who sued the kids who posted the video. Epic Meal Time originates from Canada. Justin Bieber is a proud Canuck. Also, Michael Cera, the subject of the Prancing Cera meme, is Canadian.
Origins
What is now Canada was colonized by the British and French. The British eventually took all of Canada, but part of it remained French in spirit. In time, Canada gradually separated from the UK and became its own country.
Current status
Still chilly.
