Summary
Dancing baby (aka Baby Cha-Cha or Ooga-Chaka Baby) is an ancient meme depicting a 3D animation of a baby dancing around and is also one of the first viral videos on the Internet. The intro of "Hooked on a Feeling," a song by Blue Swede, a Swedish band, plays as the animation occurs.
Origins
Dancing Baby was made by Michael Girard and Robert Lurye using the software Character Studio. It was spammed across e-mail boxes in 1996, causing it to become an Internet phenomenon.
Current status
Dancing Baby is often referenced a lot due to being one of the first Internet memes and has made many cameos in mainstream media, although as a meme it's been nothing short of a dead meme for years.
