Summary

Ebaums World, formerly owned by Eric and Neil Bauman, is a comedy website featuring hundreds of Flash animations, videos, and prank calls.

The site went under attack when several other websites accused Eric Bauman of stealing their material. Newgrounds, Albino Blacksheep, Something Awful, and YTMND were hit the hardest.

Lemon Demon, a one-man band featuring former Goon Neil Cicierega, wrote a song entitled "Ebaum's World Dot Com" that became a minor hit on Albino Blacksheep when animated by AltF4. The song ended with Goons branding Bauman's buttocks with "Something Awful."

Current status

Eric Bauman got fired from Ebaum's World, and the site went into new ownership. However, the new owners still use Eric Bauman's name. No new theft controversies for years, and the site has gone downhill.
