Ear Rape

Ear Rape generally refers to a video, piece of music, or sound effect that is so absolutely and unnecessarily loud it can also cause real and irreparable damage to the human ear.
Common usage
Similar to how a shock image can be extremely distressful to the eyes, Ear Rape is the audio equivalent and is also used quite frequently by trolls for an invariably painful experience on the the part of the viewer. The only difference between a Shock Image and an Ear Raping sound effect is that A: A person can become used to seeing grotesque images on the internet, but something loud will never cease to cause true pain; and B: It is easier to force somebody to listen to something loud by way of a hidden embedded music file on a webpage or a trap video on YouTube than an image plastered across the top of the website.
However, the only problem with that is that while both trolling techniques have their disadvantages, Ear Rape is the most susceptible to its own. Since most blind people cannot or choose to not access the internet, potential Ear Rape fodder is lost. Because the internet is a largely visual medium, there are plenty of deaf people or those without speakers using it. That is why Ear Rape is not seen as often as shock images, but it still can be very effective when one is not expecting it and has their volume set on high.
The pain in question is usually described by the viewer as the uploader's manhood unconsentingly thrusting into his ear canal and piercing his ear drums, hence the term "Ear Rape."
