Summary
Video gamers (or simply gamers or even basement dwellers) have become an ever-increasing subculture since the dawn of video games. With every new game, there's always a new fan or someone who starts to enjoy it. When online, they're usually found on gaming sites and forums discussing different topics including their favourite console, what they're playing now, and which character they'd have sex with. On top of that, they're known to easily get mad when discussing certain topics.
Origins
Since video games were first created, the number of video gamers has increased.
Current status
Screwattack, The Escapist, IGN, and Gametrailers are all active websites made to cash in on gamers primarily, and review games when they feel like it. Both websites are testaments to the power of angry nerds.
Facts
- The average gamer is either morbidly obese, has a neck beard, is antisocial and has no life, or your mom playing Farmville.
