Germany
A Central European country with good beer, Krautchan, and an Angry German Kid.
Summary
Germany, in Central Europe, is France's rival and the other major western European power. It has the largest population of any western European country, and is known for its technological achievements, its efficiency, and its beer.
Germany has its own little chan, Krautchan. Krautchan even gained an English language board after the demise of Britchan, in order to help their fellow Brits out. Also the Angry German Kid hails from Germany.
Origins
Germany had its origins in the Holy Roman Empire, a loose confederation of states, but it unified in 1871. A German-French rivalry lead to two world wars. After World War II it was split in half (between United States and the Soviet Union, which claimed halves). After the Soviets lost power, east merged into the west; thanks to this fact, all of Germany has good internet access (unlike Korea, where half of the country is under the thumb of a dictator and can't get internet). Now Germany and France are friendly rivals who share a currency (the euro).
