Summary

In the United States, Herman Cain is the only known Republican presidential candidate in history to quote a Pokemon song in his speeches and take his economic cues from an 8-year-old video game.

Rise to fame

Has worked for Coca-Cola, Pillsbury and Burger King, which led to his job as CEO of Godfather's Pizza, which he eventually bought. He was heavily involved with the Kansas City Federal Reserve bank as a former chairman (Omaha Branch board 1989–91), deputy chairman (1992–94) and chairman (1995–96) of the board of directors. Oddly enough, he's against auditing the Fed.

Current status

Running for the Republican presidential nomination.
