Derp, sometimes "herp", "hurr", "durr", and variants, is used as a response to stupidity.
Common usage
When used on an image macro, the image typically is of a human or animal with crossed eyes. A corruption of the 1980s term "duh", derp has seen new popularity on chan boards.
