Similar to planking and owling, 'horseman-ing' is a photography fad where the subject of the image appears to be holding his or her own head, mimicking the 'Headless Horseman' character of Washington Irving's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.

Horsemaning is a revival of a 1920's photography fad, which was quickly co-opted by people with hipstamatic on their iPhones after it appeared on Buzzfeed.com.
