How do I shot web? is one of the older Internet memes. While its origin is controversial, what is known is that /b/ has loved this meme to death, creating hundreds of bad photoshops.
And no, the original Spider-Man image is not real.
"Shot web" can be replaced by any past tense verb-noun combination one desires; for example, "How do I ate myself to death?"
The proper response is ¯\(°_o)/¯, pronounced: "I dunno, lol".
Origins
The origin is not confirmed, but a often purported origin is the Something Awful goon only Natural Selection server in 2002. Whether the original user said this as a joke or as authentic Engrish is unknown. It has also been argued that the phrase originated in a review for Metal Gear Solid on Amazon.com when a user asked "how do I shot gun?"
Current status
As you can see in the gallery, this meme is very alive and will be referred to whenever new drama happens. Expect more bad 'shops.
