Summary
Hypnotoad is a toad that causes people to interrupt what they're doing to s- ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD.
Hypnotoad can be invoked using images (preferably gifs), videos or texts. An image may lead to many replies of ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD, some of them interrupting people trying to discuss other top- ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD.
Origins
Hypnotoad comes from Futurama where he has his own TV show known as Everybody Loves Hypnotoad. He sometimes shows up to other locales, coercing people into loving him.
Current status
Hypnotoad may be slowly replacing Candlejack as the favorite sentence interrupter from a cartoon. Futurama has many more viewers than Freakazoid, and thus more are familiar with the concept before seeing it as a meme.
