Internet cafés or cybercafés are establishments where customers pay a fee to use a computer. Some internet cafés are entirely devoted to being places to use computers. There are other establishments, like restaurants, etc. that act as internet cafés on the side (i.e. if you order something, they let you use the computer).
In Italy people using internet cafés are required to show identification (such as passports) due to anti-terrorism measures in place in the country.
In Nigeria many 419 scams are perpetrated out of internet cafés.
Common usage
Online gambling, DDosing sites, and internet scams (like 419) since governments will trace the ip's back to the cafe and not their homes
