Summary
In the olden days, webcams took a series of still pictures instead of actually streaming live video. In April 1996, a young woman named Jennifer Ringley, then a student at Dickinson College in Pennsylvania, began to put everything from her life on display. From the mundane moments, when she waxed about subjects, to the spicy ones, when she made love or had otherwise private moments, everything was recorded and posted. Her site continued after she moved to Washington, DC.
It was shut down in 2003, after Paypal stopped her account because her website had frontal nudity. Now Miss Ringley states that she enjoys her privacy.
Current status
Not there anymore, but always there in spirit.
