Summary

Kenny Glenn, a sociopath teenage dweeb, posing under the name of "Timmy," posted videos of himself beating his pet cat on YouTube. This angered the 4chan and 7chan crowd immensely, prompting them to discover his personal information and pass the evidence on to authorities in true vigilante fashion.

Rise to fame

On February 15th, 2009, Kenny Glenn uploaded two videos of himself abusing his pet cat, named Dusty, on his Youtube account, glennspam1. The internet world was shocked by the actions of "Timmy" (the nickname Kenny used in the video); the userbase of 4chan was especially sickened. After forming the IRC channel #catraid, a huge portion of disgusted individuals began the hunt for the abuser. After having followed some links, the hunters found themselves looking at pages connected to a specific ZIP code in Lawton, Oklahoma. This allowed them to narrow their search and lead them to gain Kenny's Facebook profile, allowing them used to gain as much information as possible about the abuser. The gained information was then spread all around 4chan and the rest of the internet. Eventually, members of 4chan contacted Kenny's local police department.

Current status

Because of the actions of the caring 4chan userbase, all pets in the Glenn household were removed and Kenny Glenn (as well as his friend) were charged with animal abuse. Though some sources have claimed that Kenny has not received any form of punishment.
