Much like the Mac, it is often used to people suffering from Unwarranted Self Importance with the difference Linux is free and popular mostly among aspies and h4x0rs, instead of expensive and popular among hipsters.
Linux Neckbeard is a minor meme used describe to patch of hair below the chin that *NIX users seem to be unable to see. You will be able to see this on every user of Linux, excluding females, because there are no females that use Linux.
Linux is driven mostly by developers and its communities, because of this the majority of Linux software is free and Open source. Linux is available in very many distributions such as Ubuntu, BackTrack, Fedora, Red Hat...etc. It's a never ending list.
Notorious as being the stereotypical OS a hacker would use due to its open-source nature, using the Terminal in public will often lead to questions like "Are you breaking into the mainframe!?" or "Duude how do i hacked computarz?". These questions should be ignored as the person is either 10 or a retard.
