Microsoft, the fruit of the labors of Bill Gates, has one big monopoly in its hand; its operating system, Microsoft Windows, is the leading OS around the world. Microsoft also has Internet Explorer, Windows Live, Hotmail, and Bing. Microsoft also introduced the Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox live, and competes with Sony and Nintendo in the gaming industry.
In the 1990s Microsoft got a bunch of anti-trust lawsuits related to its operating system monopoly, hurting its image in the United States and abroad.
