On the Internet, or OTI, is the antonym of in real life, or IRL.
Common usage
On the Internet is used to distinguish real life reality from online reality. On the Internet, lies are quite common, and people judged to be lame IRL can be quite awesome OTI. Although lies are also common IRL, you can at least see the pimply nerd who claims to be kind of a big deal.
