Summary
Overly Attached Girlfriend (OAG for short) is an image macro meme that consists of a creepy, wide-eyed Justin Bieber fangirl with captions of things that are reminiscent from an overly attached girlfriend, in namesake; the kind that won't take "no" for an answer and will stalk you to the deepest corners of the world if needed.
Origins
In June of 2012, universally loathed/adored pop star Justin Bieber announced a contest for his new single, Boyfriend. Fans quickly sent in their responses. Out of all the videos sent in and uploaded to YouTube, this one in particular, uploaded by YouTube user wzr0713 (Powerword: Laina Walker), took off and overnight turned into the creepy girlfriend meme that boys have been missing and dreading since the dawn of just about everything: a freakishly attached, borderline (sometimes crossing well over) stalker girl.
Current status
Actively enjoyed and still gaining in popularity!
On June 18, 2012, wzr0713 uploaded another video, this time doing a video of the song “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen. Like her first video, this quickly went viral, garnering over millions of views.
As of now, while enjoying millions of views for each video and having her videos on YouTube's front page, wzr0713 has become yet another YouTube celebrity, whoring herself with views.
