PETA stands for the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals which is pretty ironic since they kill about 2-3 thousand animals a year.
What they do
All PETA does is get big famous celebrities to join so they can get media attention and just protest about everything. By protesting animal shelters, hiring doctors to say milk and meat is bad for your body.
