Summary

Though it has created controversy among music fans, Pitchfork Media is definitely the most successful Internet music publication. It has helped the careers of many an indie band, most notably Arcade Fire, and heavily supports more well-known artists like Radiohead, whose albums OK Computer and especially Kid A are generally Pitchfork's all-time favorites. Though much of the controversy surrounding Pitchfork is rooted in its preference for indie, Pitchfork's acceptance of Kanye West and Lady Gaga has also bothered some people.
