To be rich and beautiful is a rare feat on the Internet. The term originated in the now-ancient Mediacrat drama on LiveJournal back in 2004. Being rich and beautiful means that you are immune to all forms of internet drama and trolling. In a way it can also refers to certain types of unrealistic expectations or delusions of grandeur that often afflict attention whores.
bobbyq78's "Ballad of J" plays homage to the phrase, as well as the Mediacrat saga that inspired it.
