Summary
Script Kiddies (sometimes called skiddies) are often mistaken for hackers, however there are a few noticeable differences. Script Kiddies are those who never write their own tools, exploits, or even ideas. Script Kiddies can be found on hacking forums, typically asking why their copy of backtrack isn't working or how to install a program on Linux. In short form, script kiddies are unprofessional, untalented, lazy 15-year old basement dwellers.
Script kiddies are hated by the hacker community for the same reason Bums are despised in the IRL community. They freeload, never contribute, and don't understand what they're doing. In general, script kiddies download pre-packaged "LOLOL HAXXOR PROGRAMS" en masse and attempt to unleash them on every website that may have ever caused the slightest sense of rectal discomfort/flashbacks to summers with Uncle Steve in his hot tub. More often than not, they screw it up and throw hissy fits until, through trial and error, somethin' gets "hacked."
The rest of the internet hates them because they think they are hackers. However, we all know, they are just in it for the lulz.
In order to become a script kiddie,

2. Find a vulnerable site
3. Copy
4. Paste
5. ?????
6. DEFACE!
