The site's flash script was created by Videosoftware pro. The content was created by Chatrevolve's domain registrant and current owner. The site started with about 100-200 uniques visitors per day in May 2010.

Chatrevolve has a concept similar to Chatr … Chatrevolve has a concept similar to Chatroulette, loaded with many features like the option to choose a random male or female partner. You can also choose location, age and more. It was also the first site with Multi-Chatroulette which is 2 modules on one screen.
The site launched in mid 2010, only 2 months after Chatroulette and was one of the first similar sites on the internet. Many copy cat sites followed and there was even a recent report estimating that there are now over 15,000 Chatroulette type sites. e now over 15,000 Chatroulette type sites.
