According to Oxford Dictionary, chode is actually the past-tense form of chide, which means to yell at someone really loud or to approach someone in anger. Some examples of this word used in common parlance include the Bible and anyone on FanFiction.Net that uses the word yelled or scolded too much in their story so s/he clicks for synonyms in MS Word and comes up with chode. Clearly, no one uses the word chide, chided, or chode anymore for such purposes unless they're trying to come off as educated or clever.
Chode can sometimes define a moron or redneck. This comes from the character Tom Joad in John Steinbeck's ''The Grapes of Wrath''. As mentioned above, Chode can also be a character on a terrible sci-fi comedy.
The best known definitions of chode are dirty. The furry image below refers to it as a mixture of blood feces and semen. Some also believe it is the taint, a.k.a. the perineum.
The most repeated definition, however, is a penis that is thicker than it is long. This obviously implies a very short and fat penis. This definition is sometimes taken to then call someone who has a body that is fatter than it is tall as well.
The words "chode" and "chodesmoker" were among the many vulgar insults used between [[MTV]]'s animated anti-heroes Beavis and Butt-head, created by Mike Judge. At one point in the series' original run, Beavis tells the story of "a little chode that never scored."
