Though it did create some memes, it now isn't as influential in that department. It's a regular game discussion site, but it does have it's own culture to it, being strictly moderated, and lacking images/video on the site. The site also contains the notorious LUE board, which is restricted to newcomers. LUE was considered by some to be a "/B/ lite". LUE was closed to new members, and since then has declined in usage.
