It was created by Jeff Hunter and Launched … It was created by Jeff Hunter and Launched in 1989 as a Dailup BBS which was later moved to Websphere in 1997 using UBB Forum Software. Totse was then closed in 2009 by Jeff Hunter after giving up on the userbase.
In 2010 Totse.info was created which was a replica of the old TOTSE Community but was later dissolved and merged into Totseans.com which is a unique off shoot of the Totse Project started on Totse.info back in 2011. In December 2011 the switch was made to the new domain because of which all the old ranking and traffic was lost.
All the fringe and adult sections were removed and a completely different community was born which focuses on actually helping people out and bringing a positive change in the world through education and socialization. world through education and socialization.

The ex-official successor to the original … The ex-official successor to the original TOTSE, in its previous incarnation which is totse.info the goal was to follow the small style and principals of the original TOTSE.com. However, it was decided between the core members that following the old approach will only lead to the dead of the community and will result in breaking up the community. Hence, totseans.com was born which is successor to totse.info and is not aiming to be a successor of totse.com.
