We probably should manually insert a section for summaries of the greatest anon conquests. And then have those link to the bigger articles. HBGary, the wikileaks stuff, all the various operations. I don't know their names. I am sure someone does though. Also should probably break this up some into sections or make the paragraphs shorter for our attention-span-challenged friends.

Too Many Pics
I have an image macro pertaining to the failed Sony protests (as in no one showed up, Sony DID piss their pants and close many of their stores) but it seems there are too many images that add little to the page. - Hi! Ok, I will take a look and see if I can narrow it down some. Feel free to throw any notes or tidbits here in the talk page. I am working with one of the best anon historians/academics this weekend to really put a plan together for how we want to approach this. I think we will create a sort of portal or "table of contents" type listing and then have subpages for each op/raid/protest. I did a call for anon history a few weeks ago and got more stuff than I could imagine; academic papers, college theses, book notes, all kinds of stuff. Not just text too, clips, articles, videos and pictures. Give me a bit of time and I think we can really get something good going. Did you want to do a write up on the anon+sony situation? If so, Anonymous vs. Sony I made that real quick. Not much info or details, but an easy skeleton to fill in.

- As much interest I have in the subject, and I think this story is particularly telling of Anonymous' character (many bored fanboys with conflicting interests,) I would only be committing copypasta to the page. Surely there is someone among us with better sourcing(?) I also feel it would be unfair to finish this story without having the Bank of America leak story ready in the wings. (It would smell of Fox News style cherry-picking.) I would hate to do a current event so haphazardly. What I will do is start filling in some vids and pics. If you want help sorting through those academic papers, the mention of them made me drool. (I'm a humanities nerd at heart. Nothing gets to me like some APA style.) Bmben 09:31, 20 April 2011 (EDT)
