Summary
Months before it appeared on the Lemon Demon album Dinosaurchestra, "The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny" was released in a Flash music video by AltF4. The lyrics describe a huge fight between pop culture figures, including Godzilla, Optimus Prime, Indiana Jones, Aaron Carter, Cowboy Curtis, Jambi the Genie, every single Power Ranger, Mr. Rogers, and many others. The Flash cartoon was a major hit on Albino Blacksheep, Newgrounds, and YouTube. It also was lauded by the Dr. Demento Show, who included the track and a much more obscure Lemon Demon song called "Every Time You Stifle a Sneeze" on the compilation album Dr. Demento's Basement Tapes #15. Dr. Demento fanboy David Tanny sampled "The Ultimate Showdown" on his skit "The So Great Debate of 2008," but that's something nobody cares about.
Current status
It's an old meme now, but the song was recently released as downloadable content on Rock Band.
