Online dictionary consisting of obscure slang and vanity definitions.
Summary
The biggest online dictionary of slang on the entire internet and a forum for young pre-teens to post up any vulgar terms they made up after watching one too many television shows after bedtime. Urban Dictionary definitions should be taken with a few tons of freshly-cut rock salt because they are all user-submitted with almost no moderation whatsoever. Most of the definitions are just sexual terms created by those aformentioned pre-teens that solely depict obscene and/or silly actions ie: pooping on someone or having sex with a girl's belly button. These terms are then given subtle names such as "the cleveland steamer" so that young boys may talk about them in public and other people will not know what they mean or at least not think of giving a crap about their incessant attention-getting potty talk.
Other types of definitions include fangirls expressing their love for public figures such as Jay-Z, goth/emo/white knight loners ranting about the same people, or just plain outcasted /b/tards wanting to attach something sexual to every memetic euphemism they can think of because even though they have better things to do, it's just really funny to troll meme-nazis.
Less than 0.1% of the terms in Urban Dictionary are actually clever or somewhat funny but to find them you'll need the patience of the Buddha to filter them out all of the other immature content, blatanly contradicting definitions, and dictionary arguments.
Origins
Urban Dictionary didn't get real big ntil around 2005, but its been here since 1999.
Current status
Still big with users posting definitions every day.
