About me

There's a new sheriff in town on these here internets, and her name... is me.

I neither like nor understand enhanced recent changes. What the heck is that?

OI:N is the Needed page

Article notes

More complete notes for most of these are in the article talk pages

Shooter sandwhich

People are obsessed with this thing.

anonymous

Needs summaries of each operation, then follow up with links to separate articles for each.

Advice animals

Probably need a page with small summaries and links to each different one, making a collection.

canv.as

Need a page about this and how it relates to moot, VC, buzzfeed connection, etc. Include the SEC forms, available from Techcrunch.

Pages/Forms

We probably need a page/form for user pages so that people can edit their userpage with form.

Dates

You can use the semantic date format. Like so

In epic history, {{Date|april 14 2011|ohinternet.com comes online}}ohinternet.com comes online and then on {{Date|April 15 2011|Everyone freaks out}}, everyone freaks out. Which creates:

In epic history, april 14 2011ohinternet.com comes online and then on April 15 2011, everyone freaks out.

timeline

You can see how to do this at The princess beatrice timeline. There is a template that looks like this:

{{#ask: [[Is event date for::User:Sherrod]] | ?Has event date= | ?Has event name= | mainlabel=- | format=outline | sort=Has event date }}

This will take all the date template items in the article and put them together in a nice list.

FAQ

Beginnings of a FAQ

How do I find Compete and Alexa Ranks?

compete.com allows you to type the site name, including the TLD, into the search box. It will return stats for the site, including "the compete rank" number.

For Alexa rank, go to alexa.com and click the "site info" tab at the top. Type the site name in the box, including TLD and it will return the ranks.

For both rankings we use the "overall" rank, not the USA or other country rank.
