Zeldafrog

A Zeldafrog is a file, image, or other issue that unintentionally brings a webserver to its virtual knees.

This was discovered when killhamster was working on the article for GET OUT and uploaded a file named Zeldafrog.gif portraying a Legend of Zelda screenshot with the GET OUT frog manipulated into it. The test and development server, upon attempting to thumbnail the rather large animated image, crashed, with Apache becoming unresponsive. Whenever anybody attempted to view the page or image, the server would crash again. This continued until SpaceTurtle removed the file completely.

Common usage

This is an in-joke at Oh Internet! and is used to identify any bugs or other such issues. In the final stages before release, any item that needs immediate attention was filed under a to-do list entitled "zeldafrog."
