Summary

Britfa.gs is a British chan board. It is mostly frequented by British anonymous and a few persons of international origin. This chan considerably differs from normal chans as there is expected etiquette on posting & spelling as mentioned here.

Origins

From 2008 Britfa.gs was relatively a quiet image board only known to a few main users of the well-known Britchan. However on 5th of February 2009, Russian anonymous decided to launch denial of service attacks soon after YubYub, the web administrator and owner of Britchan, had taken down the foreign IP ban on the Britchan server firewall. With Britchan now dead and YubYub refusing to put the site back up, Britfa.gs was introduced as an alternative to the now deceased Britchan through IRC and chans.

Current status

Active and with improvements been implemented from Shedchan.

Facts

  • The server is hosted in a shed.
  • IQ/Badasses is regarded as the proper board on Britfa.gs for 4chan style posting.
  • Problems with the site can be dealt through /shed/.
