The most common form of this meme features Harald Schmidt with his index finger pointed upward with the text "FGSFDS". The variations will generally feature a finger in the air or other non-sensical imagery. It is also used as a single text post on imageboards when replying to absurd threads or posts.
Decoded, the acronym stands for "For god's sake, f*ck dis sh*t."
Origins
It originated on 4chan when somebody posted "FGSFDS" and somehow got a get. It was then photoshoped onto various pictures.
Current status
FGSFDS is now most often used to reply to strange or ridiculous threads. It is considered to be an old meme.
