Commonly abbreviated to F2P, Free to play refers to a product claiming to be available free of charge. Be wary of crappy Korean grindfests that use this term, chances are the favors are skewed hugely towards the asshole that has the biggest wallet. If you want proof play any game made by Nexon, specifically Combat Arms. Games that are free to play generally attract more foreigners and stupid kids, see the main image for an example.

Common usage

Usually used in the context of video games, more specifically MMOs.

  • For a F2P MMO, Maple Story is pretty good.
  • All free to play MMOs are terrible. You get what you paid for.
