Summary

Half-Life is a 1998 first-person shooter created by Valve Software. The game revolves around Gordon Freeman, a scientist at super secret Black Mesa, who has to work on a test that ends up creating a portal between this world and Xen, the alien world. The player must fight his way through the aliens and get to the surface to escape.

Two expansions have been made for the game by Gearbox Software. The two expansions are Half-Life: Blue Shift and Half-Life: Opposing Force. Blue Shift stars Barney Calhoun, the security guard for Black Mesa as he fights his way out of the research facility, and Opposing force stars Adrian Shepard, a US marine who was sent to Black Mesa to deal with the situation.

Selling On Steam. Half-Life: Black Mesa which is planned to be using the Source Engine is probably going to be released the next time the Beatles go on tour. Plus, it probably isn't wanted anymore since Valve released Half-Life: Source.
