Summary
Hatchet vs. Genitals, also known as the BME Pain Olympics video, is a viral shock video from 2007 that had an incredible amount of potential to be a long-lasting forerunner in the field of "disgusting crap". Unfortunately the success of 2girls1cup greatly overshadowed that of Hatchet vs. Genitals and nowadays the video is very obscure and surprisingly tricky to find.
The video, which is about 70 seconds long, purportedly features a couple of men applying hatchets and knives directly to their genitals, with predictable results. Their remarkable lack of hesitation in butchering their respective manhoods creates quite an amusing contrast with the song it is set to: Livin' Like A Zombie by Australian Christian metal band Mortification, a musical ensemble well known for their indecisiveness when it comes to what the hell it is they want to play from album to album. It has also been confirmed that the video is actually fake, though how much that takes away from the cringeworthiness of the video is up for debate.
Origins
The video originates from bmezine.com with a notice at the end confirming that it is fake, but the warning was removed by unscrupulous content pinchers and the video went viral during 2007.

Nobody really cares about it anymore.
