Summary

"Hot Problems" is a song by a musical group called Double Take consisting of two teenagers from San Luis Obispo, California named Lauren Willey and Drew Garrett.

On April 15, 2012, the song was released on YouTube. Since then, it has received over 9 million views and overwhelmingly negative reception. It has been featured and mocked on CNN, Fox News, and Tosh.0.

The lyrics are about how the fact that the singers are perceived as "hot" gives them problems from other people like being thought of as sluts and having to be dumb. The ideas of the song have been widely criticized by viewers. Willey and Garrett's lack of singing potential has also been criticized, though Garrett told ABC that “We knew that we couldn’t actually sing, so we decided to go for more of a talking singing."
