Summary

Hunter S. Thompson is the inventor of a style of Journalism called Gonzo journalism. While a self proclaimed Doctor of Journalism, he was most known for his use of drugs and his IRL trolling acts. He has reached both meme and legend status.

Origins

Hunter is as old as the internet, but his acts of IRL trolling set the standard for IRL trolls around the world

Hunter's most notorious novel of trolling, "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" has been turned into a movie,

Current status

Hunter worked for ESPN.com shortly before he killed himself. Hunter shot himself on February 20, 2005 while on the phone with his wife, truly, a troll's death
