Origins
A guy in the Baidu Tieba World of Warcraft forum posted a message with the title saying "Jia Junpeng, your mother wants you to come home for dinner." The body of the message says "rt" - This means "ru ti" (如题) or "refer to title."
Soon the message got tons and tons of replies from people who pretended to be Junpeng's relatives, like his mother, girlfriend, etc. Chinese people made many images parodying the message.
Most people who play MMORPGs in East Asia do so at internet cafes. That means they spend long hours away from their families... something the Jia Junpeng meme satirizes.
