Summary

RedTube, like its cousins YouPorn and PornoTube, is a Web 2.0 pornography and video sharing site. Visitors can watch user-uploaded and corporate sponsored videos free of charge. The site features an extensive social networking system featuring friendships, message boards and awards.

Redtube is sometimes associated with a game called "redtube roulette". This involves typing the site url followed by a slash (/) followed by a random number and laughing at whatever is landed on.

Origins

The site was founded in 2007 by Jimmy Lee.

Current status

RedTube is currently active and has a store, if you want to look like a sleazeball.



Facts

  • RedTube was one of Wired's fastest growing websites in 2007.
  • Due to the controversial nature of its content, RedTube is blocked in Sri Lanka and has been the target of multiple attacks by hackers.
