Summary
A popular website by George Ouzonian (Maddox), who rants about everything that makes him angry, from Titanic and Cameron Diaz to misplaced vegetarianism and Orbitz. Basically, trivial things that few others care about.
Origins
In the late 1990s Maddox posted about some stuff that deeply upset him, and he ranted in what would now be called a blog post. Suddenly, more and people, mostly teenage boys, wanted to hear what he had to say, and he became incredibly popular.
Current status
Still up, but with much fewer updates. He put a nice "memorial" reading "So long, bitch" to Osama bin Laden, so...
Maddox now puts up a bunch of books with the same humor from his website, including The Alphabet of Manliness.
Facts
- Many pages have distinct web counters. For instance the Iphone page says "5,358,720 people who bought an iPhone hadn't heard of the Nokia E70 until now because Nokia's marketing team is too busy tossing salad to get the word out."
