Summary

Zezima is arguably the most famous Runescape player of all time.

Origins

Zezima is the last name of the account owner. After joining RuneScape because his friend challenged him by saying he could never be good at the game Zezima proved him wrong.

Rise to fame

Joining the game in mid 2001 Zezima became the #1 player in October 2003. He lost this rank shortly when RuneScape 2 was released but quickly got it back. He was the first person to attain 99 in Slayer which is arguably the most difficult skill. In June 2007 he was also the first person to attain 1 billion xp.

Zezima Jokes

At the height of his fame Zezima jokes were very common. There was an entire clan was dedicated to them and people from it would often enter Zezima's personal clan and spam them until kicked. They were the kind of thing you either loved or hated though most tended to hate them. They were mostly general RuneScape jokes that could apply to any long-term player which is possibly why they were so hated.

Current status

In 2008 Zezima decided to stop playing the game competetively as he had lost the sense of accomplishment that came with it. He is still often brought up in conversation and those who see him on the rare occasions he goes online brag about it relentlessly.
